Dots is a mobile gaming studio based in NYC, known for creating popular titles like Dots, Two Dots, and Dots & Co.

I joined the team to assist with a brand refresh, which included a new tagline and complementary campaign videos. These videos featured world-renowned athletes to highlight the artistry of sports and gaming. Ultimately, we’re all united by play.

When I stepped into this role, I had very little exposure to gaming, mobile or otherwise. But that’s the exciting part of work — between big projects and late nights, you connect with colleagues you might not otherwise cross paths with. And they introduce you to new experiences like D&D, tabletop games, indie arcades, and hackathons.

During my three years at Dots, I learned a lot about marketing mobile games. But even more importantly, I rediscovered play. Work becomes so much more rewarding when you infuse it with fun and creativity, and the best results always come when you’re genuinely enjoying yourself.
